  • I like the television series Bones but have not been a fan of more recent episodes because the cases are a bit boring
  • The episode goes out of its way to show off some of the high tech gadgets being used by Brennan and her team (something later episodes don’t do) and those are almost as interesting as the case and potential suspects
  • This is a great episode and I think the show’s writers should re-watch it and take notes about how to make the series exciting again

I like the television series Bones but have not been a fan of more recent episodes because the cases are a bit boring. The episode “The Man in the Bear” is one that should serve as an example of what this

show used to give us for entertainment compared to what the later episodes have.

      This was an interesting case.

You have a bear getting hit by a car (or shot, I missed the first couple of minutes) and, as a vet examines the contents of its stomach, she comes across human bones.

The bear likely didn’t kill the person inside it but it did eat him and Bones and her team have to determine who he is, how he died and who ...

      murdered him.

Oh, and ate him (did I mention there is evidence of a cannibal eating him before the bear did?).

The episode goes out of its way to show off some of the high tech gadgets being used by Brennan

and her team (something later episodes don’t do) and those are almost as interesting as the case and potential suspects.

This is a great episode and I think the show’s writers should re-watch it and take notes about how to make the series exciting again.
