I’ve been working half days all week and got a chance to watch an afternoon re-run of the show “Bones” yesterday; The Baby in the Bough. I missed the first few minutes but will admit it was a pretty good episode.

Basically, Booth and Bones are called in to investigate the

case of a woman who is run off the road and killed while her baby was in the car.

The baby survives and the crime fighting team end up taking care of him while investigating the crime.

The investigation leads them to a run down town and plenty of potential suspects ...

      • to choose from.

I liked this case because a lot of the clues come from the baby himself; including a gun that was fired by a man and, from DNA evidence, likely killed a man too.

But, we don’t find out until later who the murderer and victim were.

        I loved

the ending of this one too; where Bones decides to use her money to help re-build a destroyed bridge to that town in an effort to revitalize it.

You just don’t see wealthy people doing stuff like that when they could.

Of course, the show will never tell us if her plan actually worked.
