The Hidden Staircase is, in many of the kids I work with’s opinion, one of the better Nancy Drew books. It is the second Nancy Drew book.

Nancy Drew is the observant and

adventurous teenage daughter of a lawyer, whom she helps out with her sleuthing skills.

Many of the scenes are exciting, although a lot of the book is quite similar to other Nancy Drew ...

The ending is especially satisfying, with all of the problems and small mysteries are explained neatly in the conclusion.

Throughout the book, there are many instances of foreshadowing, so that a reader could conceivably guess what is going to happen.

This is a great book for girls to read.

It is exciting and adventure-filled, with several female characters who go out and solve problems and help people.
