The film was absolutely fabulous. I was worried, I won’t lie, that Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) would not have the acting chops to do this movie given that he’s had so little screen time in the past. I was worried that the “please” on top of the tower wouldn’t convey what it needed to convey to make ‘The Deathly Hallows’

      seem plausible.

I was so wrong on all counts. Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Michael Gambon (Dumbledore), Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) and Felton all stepped up to what was, perhaps, the hardest film in the series and knocked it out of the park.

These four men were going to make or break this movie because they are all so central to the ...

      • plot, and they made it what it was supposed to be: magical, scary, dark with a hint of what is to come.

At 2 hours and 45 minutes, it’s long, and I don’t think it possible to make it much shorter. Everything had to be there. The shift of Harry from boy to man (which they did extremely well), the ‘fall’

of Snape, the ‘please’ (like I said), the Inferi, the locket, the explanation of the Horcruxs’ and the hovering question of ‘What happens now?’ all had to be there.

In the end, when someone who has never seen Harry Potter before was mad because she wants to know ‘WHAT HAPPENS NOW???’, you know you have a triumph.

Trust me, Twiligh ain’t got nothing on this.
