  • This probably makes it the best place to stay and play
  • In my opinion this is true up to an extent not because of any specialty here but due to lack of good gambling houses in LA County

Hollywood Park should be the nearest casino to Los Angeles. This is the only major attraction I see for this place. Since it is at Inglewood which is only one exit far from LAX airport, it is very easy to get here. This probably makes it the best place to stay and play. Hollywood Park claims them to be the best place to play in LA.

In my opinion this is true up to an extent not because of any specialty here but due to lack of

good gambling houses in LA County. The collection per hand makes table games here less attractive. Blackjack rules are very mediocre. I saw only six deck blackjacks which are shuffled by machines after each hand.

Roulette is not allowed in this type of card rooms in California. There is a good poker room filled with players most of time. The players here are very advanced and they play good poker. Rake was standard per hand.

The slots were tight. However Bingo was real fun. Also there was ...

      • a magnificent race course where I watched horse racing without even betting single penny. If you want drinks you should pay from your pocket even when you are playing.

Dealers were not at all friendly. I was not able to find a superb dining option. All were usual stuff. Even though the name has Hollywood in it, I don’t think any Hollywood star visit here.

If you are going there be careful with your chips. There are real nasty players. I saw one player literally stealing chips

from nearby player. Tables are not well controlled by dealers.

I felt total chaos with players betting on other player’s cards very often. Overall spending time here is a costly affair. Even the parking will cost you. With the amount of vehicles here I was forced to take valet parking and it was not free.

It is better to take time off and go Vegas than come here. You will have some real fun. But if you feel big urge for horse racing or poker this place is worth a visit.
