Almost everyday I chat using Yahoo! Messenger using my mobile phone. Before I found this software, I use Yahoo! WAP site, http://m. yahoo. com to do that.

It is not quite comfortable you know, to chat using this method, as I cannot chat with as many people as I want and I cannot get the reply instantly, and I cannot respond quickly to the reply. But then, I found this software. This software is quite complete; I cannot only chat on Yahoo! Messenger, but also Facebook, Google Talk, MSN, and AOL Instant Messenger.

Using eBuddy Mobile Messenger, I can set the status of my account, whether I am busy, available,

away, and appear offline. I can even set my personal status message using this application. This software is not so complicated, all I have to do is download the software on getjar.

com and install it in my mobile phone. When I use it for the first time, I need to create an eBuddy account. And then, I can add as many chat accounts as I want.

It’s so easy. I don’t need to configure it a lot. And there isn’t any confusing configuration I found.

The appearance of eBuddy is very simple and minimalist, so it doesn’t need a lot of resource in mobile phone, and almost all ...

      • mobile phone which supports java can install this application. For the connection, eBuddy Mobile Messenger can connect to the internet using GPRS, 3G networks, or even WiFi. The quality of the connection is quite good also, as I can chat with a lot of people in the same time, and get the respond and reply the message fast.

eBuddy also supports conference chat which makes it even more powerful, so when I need to talk to other about the same thing, I just need to create a conference chat using it. As I hate seeing the list of my offline contacts, I am glad that hiding the offline

contacts is also supported in eBuddy. Unfortunately, I can’t really feel the sound and vibration of this application, so I often miss some message from my friends.

Even though I set the sound to maximum, I still think that it’s not enough. Also in the new version of eBuddy, there is a disturbing advertisement on the bottom of the contacts list. It always appear and quite annoying, as it displays advertisement about porn video and so on.

I hope that in the next version it can be solved. But overall, for those who like to chat on Yahoo! Messenger (YM), Google Talk (GTalk), MSN, and AOL Intant Messenger (AIM) using mobile phone, I recommend this mobile application.

I just installed eBuddy MM on my droid phone. Is there a way to NOT have my eBuddy password saved on the log-in page? I can`t seem to find the setting to change this. Also, is there a way to log on to MSN, Yahoo, etc… as appear offline ? Thank you

    mike says :

You should try log out of it completely and then there is a little check box right before you enter you password that is ticked to remember login details. if you uncheck that, then it wont remember your username and password.

To appear offline i usually change that once i am already logged in.

    Samar says :

ebuddy messenger is so nice to use. where we can loging multi ids like yahoo, msn. facebook, aims etc and multi username of same id at same time. but i found that its is so costly as we use prepaid gprs.

    yesaya says :

its only costly if you are logged in on multiple accounts…..if you are on say yahoo alone for example its really cheap and efficient because the software automatically refreshes every few seconds and so if you are logged onto 5 accounts it would be refreshing all of them at once which is much more costly
