That Girl: The Face in the Shower Room Door opens with Ann Marie (Marlo Thomas) being stuck in her shower because the door won’t open. Coming to her rescue is the handsome Federico Gente, played by Cesare Danova. He’s apartment hunting, and Ann is supposed to show him

      the place.

Naturally, Federico becomes interested in Ann, much to Don’s chagrin. Of course, by the end of the show, he realizes that he doesn’t have a prayer.

My favorite part of That Girl: The Face in the Shower Room Door is the last scene, when Ann again becomes locked in ...

      • her shower, only this time it’s Don who comes to her rescue. However, along the way, he runs into Federico, who gives him some pointers in rescuing Ann. The outcome of this is a winning moment and the best part of the show.

Danova has played these kind of

roles often, though he also played a lot of dramatical parts. I enjoyed him best in Gidget Goes to Rome, when Gidget develops a crush on him for awhile. He has that suave demeanor about him that makes him suit these roles perfectly.

So, good show all the way around.
