When I had begun to watch cable television in the nineties, one of the things which I used to see advertising the most on almost all children’s televsion channels was Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli. Of course, since I was from a different culture and inexposed, I never even knew what beef ravioli was. However, the advertisements for Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli was so good

that I found myself longing for somem as in the ads the ravioli looked beyond delicious.

Nevertheless, despite my lusting over it I never got to try it until I was actually given a tin years later when I was a teenager. At the time, I had almost forgotten about it and I wasn’t as interested in tasting it anymore, but curiosity got the better ...

First of all, it looked nothing at all like what I had seen on television. In fact, to me it more resembled a kind of soup. Secondly, just the smell alone was a

turn off and even now I still can’t figure out why; and last but not least the food didn’t taste any better. I hated the sauce with every fibre of my being and the beef tasted extremely lacking as if it had not been seasoned at all. The only thing I can say to people would be to try it at their own risk.

I have enjoyed your ravioli products for years, but as of late the product has changed. The sauce is much thinner, and the flavor is is much blander, as if the cheese and italian spices have been cut back. Please explain these changes, or is it possible the cans I had were pacakeged on an off day? Please let me know the reason for the changes in the product. Thank you ,William Stewart.
