      R. Kelly ft. The Game “Playas Only” TP-3: Reloaded Jive Records

It looks like R. Kelly is no longer trapped in the closet in this second single and music video from his solo album, “TP-3: Reloaded”. Here, he teams up with a rapper who (quite possibly) stole his name from a 1997 David Fincher-directed thriller that starred

      Michael Douglas called “The Game”.

“Playas Only” shows off in a straight up summer party video style. It’s actually kind of reminiscent of Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize” and Jay Z’s “Big Pimpin’” (albeit on a rather smaller scale than the latter one). There’s a speedboat with tons of delicious-looking, bikini-clad chicks and it’s manned by both R.

      • Kelly and The Game.

The two “playas” navigate through the tropical seas and come across a group of about maybe six yachts that are attached to each other and with even more bikini-clad hoes on board all of them. Be sure to be on the look out for something yummy in pink beginning at about 2:09.

Another (later) sequence involves both R. Kelly and The Game driving a couple of high-priced fancy-looking cars down a deserted road.

I guess it’s typical, sub-standard, late 2000s hip hop summer party nonsense that would you expect nowadays from the music industry. At least R. Kelly is trapped on a boat with lots of women instead of in a lowly closet.
