The site is located at 44 rue Touahine. The hours are 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Sunday thru Friday. This is a great venue if you enjoy the history of Tangier during the 1900s. A very large area provides presentations of photos, news items and Tangier posters from the late 19th century to

the 60s. There are pictures of Winston Churchill, artist James McBeay and other notable individuals.

One very early brochure from the El Minzah Hotel advertises boar hunting. The tennis courts of the property are also promoted.

In order to locate the Musee de la Foundation Lorin you follow signs from Rue as-Siaghin and then traverse along rue Touahine.

All-in-all the city itself will ...

      • offer you a culturally fascinating history with a very exotic feel to it. With regard to the museum, I’d rate it a five out of five stars with five being the best.

This is a good area to start before becoming familiarized with the Tangier of today. There is still a great deal of old world cultural appeal to the current city.

The latter years makes it seem all the more special. You’ll get a sense as to what I mean as you review the presentations within the Musee de la Foundation Lorin

Tangier should be at the top of your list as far as lifetime travel destinations. There is so much to explore in addition to what I have already written.
