I had the opportunity of viewing this movie prior to its “original”, which was released in 1981. I really do like this one better.

      Unlike the first

one, (3) friends decide to take a vacation in Paris.

They stop a young woman (Julie Delpy) from leaping to her death on the Eiffel Tower.

What they don’t realize is the reason why she wants to die : She’s a werewolf.

      • The lead character (Tom Everett Scott) spends most of the movie attempting to romance Serafine (Delpy), and ends up trapped inside his own werewolf body.

Like the original, “An American Werewolf in London”, there are few comedic elements.

        But they are placed delicately

within the script, and don’t detract from the action of the film.

I liked this movie because the club scene was very haunting and quite terrifying.

This wasn’t a solid hit in theatres.

But it was well crafted, and they didn’t go too overboard with the special effects.
