      • Scott Thomas) gets bored with her pleasant but unexciting life in their beautiful mansion and starts an affair with a handsome youngster. As usual, the society knows about it long before the husband does.
        When Tony’s and Brenda’s son is killed in an accident, Brenda adds to the blow her husband receives by telling him about her affair. The outraged Tony sets off to South Africa, never to come back.
