  • The movie Inkheart has an interesting plot though, which was why I didn't get too angry when I watched it online
  • I was even interested in the movie since I thought the the title of the movie sounded familiar, and then I realised that it was also the title of a book which the movie was based on
  • I recommend this movie to children and possibly the entire family

When I first saw the movie “Inkheart” advertising to be released in theatres I somehow assumed that it was supposed to be a fantasy film which starred the actor Brendan Fraiser. Therefore at one point I was even planning on saving some money to watch it while it was in theatres. However, recently I have been glad that I didn’t do it as I watched it online recently and found out it was actually

a children’s film. That made me a little angry as it was the exact same thing which happened to me with his previous movie “Journey to the Center of the Earth” where I didn’t realise it was a children’s film.

      • the movie sounded familiar, and then I realised that it was also the title of a book which the movie was based on.

The movie is about a man and his daughter who posses a unique power which is to immerse themselves in book so much that the characters literally come to life when they read aloud. However, that is exactly how the father lost the little girl’s mother when she was just three years

old as when the characters do some alive someone from the real world is sucked into the book as a replacement. He manages to find the same book the mother was sucked in soon to try to save her, but things end up backfiring and he finds that he will now have to save three people including himself and prevent someone from releasing an evil creature.

I recommend this movie to children and possibly the entire family.
