Sydney, a young TV reporter in Los Angeles, is stuck in a traffic jam caused by an accident. Later on, she is assigned to investigate that accident, as it turns out

that there might be something more to it, something.

A worldwide conspiracy seems to be taking place; people receive a “Death Watch” e-mail, without a return address, with a simple notification that they will die in 48 hours - and that’s exactly what happens.

      be none.

When a rather unusual source - a street preacher - offers a possible explanation, Sydney at first dismisses it.

But when the Death Watch affects someone she knows, she

      is ready to listen.

This is a good, solid mystery with a strong spiritual message, a treat for Christian mystery fans.

The characters are recognizable and alive, the plot well-thought-out, intriguing from the start.

      Highly recommended.
