  • The décor was definitely Chinese with one exception, a Coca Cola sign
  • Had I decided not to have the buffet they did have a menu on display and the prices were under $5
  • The buffet was good, but some of the food on the first round was not as hot as I thought they should be
  • I enjoyed the food and the laid back atmosphere
  • I would recommend The Golden Dragon Restaurant

Golden Dragon Restaurant The Nations Building 120 Park Ave Oklahoma City, OK 73102 (405) 235-2203 KIM HUOR (OWNER)

Hidden in the Nations Building on Park Ave in downtown Oklahoma City is a unique concept in dining. Kim Huor, owner, fills two needs for the office tenants and general public. They have a sign outside their entry marketing a lunch buffet for $4.

      75. I thought that was reasonable.

I prepaid my order and set out to

have a feast of Chinese food. The price includes hot or cold tea, coffee, or water and dessert.

They offered a good variety for the size of the place. It can only have 100 people in the room at once.

The décor was definitely Chinese with one exception, a Coca Cola sign. Had I decided not to have the buffet they did have a menu on display and the prices were under $5.

      They also had ...

      • a breakfast menu, which was traditional American faire. The buffet was good, but some of the food on the first round was not as hot as I thought they should be.

They redeemed their self on the second round, after new food had been added. Then the dessert options were such that the healthy conscious could have a variety of fruit, or they could indulge in the soft self serve ice cream.

        What makes this place

so unique is that they also have a convenience story at the counter. People can get candy, soda, or cigarettes if they are on the go.

Also, the buffet was available for take-out for an extra $0. 75 if the person needed to work at their desk.

I enjoyed the food and the laid back atmosphere. The staff was friendly to patrons that came in, without being pushy.

I would recommend The Golden Dragon Restaurant. Pros: Unique concept Cons: Needs to make sure food temperature is accurate
