King Kong vs. Godzilla is the first color Godzilla movie, and in a way, I kind of wish that it was not.

Both King Kong and Godzilla look ugly and fake as do the sets and the military tanks and other artillery.

I also do not like how the writers of this movie tossed

a lot of what was established about King Kong and Godzilla out the window.

King Kong was never the size of Godzilla and Godzilla was never weak against electricity.

In the first Godzilla movie, Godzilla easily broke through several high-voltage lines that had been assembled to prevent Godzilla from reaching the heart of the ...

      • city.

In this movie, Godzilla was clearly dumbed-down and weakened and King Kong strengthened so that the two would be evenly matched and that King Kong would not only survive an encounter with a fire-breathing and vicious mutated dinosaur, but emerge the winner! It was terrible how this movie was handled, and even more

terrible how poorly dubbed this movie is.

Even portions of the soundtrack was altered from the Japanese track.

This is one Godzilla movie that I watch maybe every five years, if that, because it is simply not that enjoyable to sit down and watch.

I would only recommend purchasing it if you collect Godzilla movies.
