The AT&T Trimline Memory Telephone 230 is a reliable basic telephone that is simple to use. The stylish corded phone features a handset volume control and has space for three emergency, pre-programmed numbers at the top. There’s also a mute button and a redial selection that can be used.

base piece of the Trimline phone includes a ringer on and off button and a lined, cardboard piece where you can write in the 12 numbers that can be stored in the phone. A clear piece of plastic slides over the cardboard to keep it in place. The plastic ...

I never had any problems with the AT&T Trimline Memory Telephone 230. I never mounted mine on the wall, but

they can be, if you so choose. I still have this phone available for use and feel confident that it would continue to work just fine for years to come. It was simply replaced by cordless phones in our household.

For a basic, corded phone, AT&T Trimline Memory Telephone 230 works beautifully.

Please tell me how to program `sw into memory. This phone is for my father-in-law who is 92 and retired from western electric. Thank you Bill Coughlan
    Galega says :

Lift the handset and then press MEMORY button. Now, you will have options before you to feed numbers with names, putting numbers into speed dialing (up to three numbers).

Instructions are lost. Phone given to me. How do I program in numbers to the memory then how do I use the stored numbers to dial out? Thanks
    Galega says :

That’s easy. Just lift the handset and press MEMORY button. Now, press the digit where you want your number to be stored. For example, press 1 and then enter the telephone number. That will be used for memory dialing. Put up the handset. Now, that particular number should have been stored for memory dialing.
