How the story unfolded was quite interesting. It’s a beautifully woven tale of two souls who, after having been separated by science, still manage to find each other again, because of a force far greater than any form of futuristic technology — love.

I enjoyed the cast of characters of this wonderful film. There’s Joel a.k.a Joely, played by Jim Carrey, his love interest Clementine a.k.a. Tangerine is played by Kate Winslet. The

support cast was great too — Mary (Kirsten Dunst) and Patrick (Elijah Wood) did enough to assist the story into completion.

Lifting the title from an Alexander Pope poem “Eloisa to Abelard” was also instrumental in convincing me to see the flick. I’m a fan of this particular writing, wanted to see if the film held tragedy at par with Eloisa and Abelard’s love story. Fortunately, it did not.

      In a nutshell– it’s all ...

      • about the most powerful force in the universe that, when tested, still finds a way to outshine anything that dims its signature shine. Love is the ultimate universal deal maker and breaker, really. I so appreciate how this was translated in the movie. Lovely love… always finds a way (to never be forgotten, that is).

Eternal Sunshine was a poetic experience. A lot of words were spoken and witty lines, delivered…

so listen to the dialogue to fully understand and recognize the artistic value of the film. It’s not that difficult a mystery to crack, anyway. So don’t let my words deter you. Everything falls into place toward the end. Do go see it with an open mind. And a full bucket of buttered popcorn.

You’ll find yourself agreeing with me no sooner than you can say “eternal sunshine of a spotless mind”…cheers!
