Lush cosmetics seem to be all the rage at the moment, I think that Lush have a great philosophy, hand made cosmetics that contain essential oils and they are natural products.

A lot of Lush products are fine for Vegans to use and the one that I am going to tell you a bit about is in fact one of those vegan friendly products.

Lush `Angels On Bare Skin`, it sounds a bit strange for starters and when you see it for the first time it looks revolting.

This Lush cleansing wash comes in a tub and when you take it out and look at it you would find it hard to believe that this lump of what looks like grey putty with bits and pieces in it could be any good for anything !

      But have a sniff

and the grey lump smells pretty good, it contains tagetes oil. Lavender oil, rose oil, chamomile and almond oil plus it has lavender flowers worked into it.

The Lush `Angels On Bare Skin` cleanser is fine for all skin types but you could be a bit puzzled when it comes to using it for the first time. It doesn’t look like any conventional cleansing product that’s for sure !

The Lush cleanser is just over £5 a tub so although it goes a very long way and the tub will last you for ages you still want to make every penny work for you.

We all develop our own ways of using cleansing products and I have found a way to use this Lush product without being wasteful.

The lump of grey putty cleanser is pliable, so you can just tug ...

      • a small piece of it out of the tub. When you have got a piece in you hand, about the size of a marble then sponge some cold water all over your facial skin.

When you have a good wet face then take the marble of Lush cleanser and just start to gently rub it over the surface of the skin. Because you are using a small piece of cleanser it is easy to manage and it is also easy to hold on to while you rub it over your skin.

The cleanser may look horrible but when it is wet it really smells nice, the almond and the rose oil smell really sweet and fresh.

Keep rubbing the lush cleanser into your skin and it starts to form a soft layer on the top of your skin, the cleanser

doesn’t feel scratchy in any way at all.

Once you have got to that stage then just leave it on to soak for a minute or so and enjoy that lovely smell, the wetter the cleanser becomes the better it smells. The lavender oil starts to creep past your nose too, that is really relaxing.

Once you have finished then you just rinse the Lush cleanser away just as you would any other cleansing product.

It rinses off quickly and easily and leaves your skin feeling fresh, soft and relaxed and above all very clean.

Lush describe it as an exfoliating product too but I find that it is a bit too soft to do any heavy exfoliating.

Lush know what is good for our skin and that combination of those natural oils is just bound to be in big demand.

Any product that contains natural ingredients is a must in my book.
