Star Trek Voyager season 3 episode 14 was a funny episode in its own way. It talks about falling in love at first sight.

It would be hard to believe though that anyone would truly fall in love at first sight with a holodeck character though.

      However maybe in a

world where computer simulations were more realistic like Voyager this would be a possibility but it still seems hard to imagine.

In part this episode was about Harry falling for a holodeck character.

The holodeck character was actually being controlled by an alien from the nebula that they were investigating.

      When ...

      • the Alien falls for Tuvok she tries to convince him to stay on the station in the nebula with her because she fell head over heals in love with him.

The station for the nebula was where they controlled the fire suppression system that maintained the nebula.

        Tuvok as usual uses

logic to convince the Alien that maybe she should send for a replacement and go live among her own people for a while to cure her loneliness.

After a short conversation the Alien decides to let Tuvok return to his own ship.

I guess she decided she would not hold him against his will.
