  • This is because I'm used to her starring in a lot of romance films which I don't like as well as I have always thought many of the movies she is in tend to be boring
  • However, recently I decided to watch the film Mona Lisa Smile because there was nothing else being broadcast on television
  • The result was that I finally saw that Julia Roberts was not just a film star but an actress, and even though I thought the movie was only a little less boring than all her other films, I realised it wasn't a romance movie and I liked it especially because of the storyline
  • I would recommend this movie to not fans of Julia Roberts who are probably hoping for this to be yet another one of her romance films but people who like drama films and are interested in the feminist perspectives of life

It took me a very long time to watch the movie “Mona Lisa Smile” because I have always found it very hard to watch movies starring the actress Julia Roberts. The movie was about a feminist teacher who goes to teach at a conservative tertiary institution for women where she encourages her students to believe that they are in fact equal and have the freedom and ability to do whatever they put their minds

to. However, she gains opposition from more traditional minds such as other teachers and thus her job becomes even harder.

I would recommend this movie to not fans of Julia Roberts who are probably hoping for this to be yet another one of her romance films but people who like drama films and are interested in the feminist perspectives of life.
