My dogs give Due South: The Wild Bunch eight paws up. They were fascinated by it, especially my oldest dog. She was up by the TV screen for most of the hour. She loves to watch Diefenbacker, the wolf dog, and Dief was the star of this hour.

      While there

is other action going on in Due South: The Wild Bunch, the center story is about how Dief has been out of sorts lately, and Fraser has no clue why. The wolf seems to be homesick, or something. Not only that, but he’s been leading a pack of neighborhood dogs ...

      • all around the area, and no one knows why. Some of the neighbors are even afraid of the wolf.

Another dog named Maggie, a Huskey is grabbed by the nasty Animal Control officer, who is really a jerk. He’s at the heart of this story.

There’s also a brilliant surprise at the

end for Diefenbacker that is adorable. I love this ending. It’s cute beyond cute. This ending is needing because the story itself was very angsty between Fraser and Dief. I just don’t want to spoil it, but it’s not the easiest to watch. Still, this is a very good show.
