  • While this is technically not an artificial sweetener, it is definitely not natural for it to be in orange juice and it definitely alters the flavor of the juice product

Trop50 is gross. Advertised as a juice product with 50% less sugar, trop50 is not even really orange juice. It is “vitamin enriched juice drink.” I expected that it would taste like regular orange juice, just a little bit less

sweet. I was wrong. It tastes like watered down orange juice, plain and simple. I would go so far as to say that it tastes like orange flavored water with sweeteners.

Also, Trop50 advertises that they don’t use any artificial sweeteners. While this is technically true, Trop50 is sweetened with Stevia, a naturally sweet plant product. While this is technically not an artificial sweetener, it is definitely not natural for it to be in orange juice and it definitely alters the flavor ...

      of the juice product.

The only reason I can possibly see for drinking Trop50 would be if you have diabetes that you are having trouble managing and are unable to drink regular orange juice. Even so, the flavor of this product bears only

a slight resemblence to real orange juice and will ultimately just be disappointing. If you are considering buying Trop50 because you want to lose weight, please take my advice: don’t buy this product. Just buy regular orange juice and drink less.
