  • I purchased it because I wanted a stainless steel microwave in my kitchen, and not too big as it was going on a worktop (dimensions are H28 x D38 x W46) I saw some alternatives, but the thing that swung it for me is ironally that it's manual
  • Because there are only two knobs, it's a balanced design, and with the rod style handle, stainless steel finish throughout and black framed door it's simple yet classic

This is a really neat, stylish microwave.

I purchased it because I wanted a stainless steel microwave in my kitchen, and not too big as it was going on a worktop (dimensions are H28 x D38 x W46) I saw some alternatives, but the thing that swung it for me is ironally that it’s manual.

I just get so fed up with prodding buttons to ‘program’ the microwave for the simple task of heating a cup of tea. Set the power level, clock, the cooking program. It’s a cup of tea. It

doesn’t require cooking, I just want it hot. And the constant beeping. What is that about? I’ve just applied pressue with my finger to the button, I don’t need confirmation of that fact that I’ve successfully pressed it through a loud, high pitched generally irritating beeping noise.

I love this microwave. I just open the door, put something in, close the door and turn the timer knob. THAT’S how you heat something up.

Of course if you do need to follow instructions on that ready meal, or frozen something or other, there ...

      • are 6 power settings including defrost, and the simple minute timer.

The microwave look great. Because there are only two knobs, it’s a balanced design, and with the rod style handle, stainless steel finish throughout and black framed door it’s simple yet classic. As with all stainless steel products, you’ll find that finger prints and other marks begin to show up - but that’s simply fixed with a suitable cleaner, or if you don’t have a tiny drop of cooking oil will rub off all the marks and leave it looking gleaming

        and new.

It’s a standard 800 watt output. The capacity is limited at 20L and the turntable is quite small, but I’ve never had any issues and most people will find this ample for tall jugs of gravy, large pots of rice or whatever else you intend to cook in the microwave.

If you need a stylish yet affordable microwave, and are not a fan of flashing displays, beeping and a myriad of buttons, this is the one for you.
