      Dead Like Me: Reaping Havoc was actually an interesting episode from the first season of this science fiction series which aired on Showtime. The main thrust of the story surrounds George’s decision that maybe it’s time to make some friends, a concept that is

      foreign to her as she didn’t have any friends in life. Now as an undead person, she is curious to see if she can make some relationships work.

      George makes an effort to become close to Betty, one of the undead she’s been working with. Rebecca Gayheart has played the part in these early episodes. George really likes her offbeat ways, so Betty moves in with her, and the two do grow close.

      There have been very few guest stars on Dead Like Me that I’ve known, but there were two here. First up was Gary Jones. He was on Stargate SG-1, which is why I know

      him. He’s one of the grim reaper job assignments. The other was Jackie Burroughs, who was just awesome on Avonlea.

      The ending is a big surprise, but very different and so well done. I rather liked it and the mystery that surrounds it.
