If you want to see a motion picture about the mystery and magic of love, then Miracle in the Rain is the movie for you. This picture sends tingling chills up my spine, the kind of chills from the enduring legacy of a love that can’t and won’t die. This

movie is inspired, and it touches my heart.

Van Johnson stars as Private Art Hugenon, who meets Ruth Wood (Jane Wyman) during a rainy day in New York City. Neither is looking for anything and Wood isn’t anxious to even consider the possibility of good coming to her life. Never the less,

      • it’s the beginning of a wartime romance for the ages as these two lonely people find love together.

I refuse to spoil the miracle of this film because the joy is watching the drama unfold, both in the good and the bad. Make sure you have some tissue handy because it will

catapult your emotions and cause tears to flow. The miracle is worth the wait. The ending clutches at your heart.

Johnson and Wyman are utterly fantastic. They took these two quiet lives and made it synergize. This movie should not be ignored. It’s a winner no matter how you review it.

    John Rajnic says :

Does Jane Wyman`s character die at the end of the movie Miracle in the Rain?

    John says :

Yes, she died while climbing the cathedral steps.
