I am reviewing the movie, Gran Torino, starring Clint Eastwood. This movie was made in 2008, and was produced and directed by Clint Eastwood. Clint Eastwood plays a Korean War vet named Walt Kowalski.

He is a cranky, irritable old man who has little time for the people in his life. His family are not close to him, and he seems to be just a burden.

When his wife dies, things only get worse. The only thing he has is his dog.

But then Hmong immigrants move next door to him, and things take a turn. At first, it seems for the worst.

Walt does not take keenly to them, and makes no attempt to be friendly. When a gang tries to get involved with the family next door, however, Walt intervenes by ...

      • shoving a shotgun in the gang’s faces, saving the young boy next door named Taug.

What follows is an unlikely friendship and bond between kid and man, both in pain. I adore this movie.

I have always been a fan of Clint Eastwood, but this movie really touched my heart. There are various scenes that involve extensive swearing, which got a little on my nerves, but other than that

I really have no complaints about this film.

There were times when the young actors playing the Hmong immigrants had trouble acting as well as the previous scenes, but they were all good overall. Clint Eastwood was as amazing as ever.

This is a film that is both heartbreaking, humorous, and dramatic. There is something to be learned for everyone in this movie, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
