  • The Sims 3 was groundbreaking when it just recently was released onto the iPhone/iPod Touch platform and, aside from a few complaints, I love it
  • This game has more depth and replayability then any other game I've played in a while on my iPod, since it's a different experience for the player everytime he or she boots the game
  • The graphics aren't amazing, but they definitely get the job done
  • The best advice I have to prevent the crashing as much as possible would be to restart your device before you begin playing The Sims 3

The Sims 3 was groundbreaking when it just recently was released onto the iPhone/iPod Touch platform and, aside from a few complaints, I love it. Even though this game comes at a premium price compared to most iPhone/iPod Touch games, at $10, it’s completely worth it.

This game has more depth and replayability then any other game I’ve played in a while on my iPod, since it’s a different experience for the player everytime he or she boots the game. Your Sim can do

virtually anything you want it to do, allowing for total customization of your Sim! I never thought I’d see something like this arrive onto the Apple app store so soon, but I sure am glad it did. The graphics aren’t amazing, but they definitely get the job done. The gameplay is fun and deep, I find myself booting the game every couple hours or so just to check on how my Sim is doing.

The biggest complaints I have for this game are its ...

      • music and its bugs. The in game music is repetitive and annoying, I turn the volume all the way down most of the time just so I don’t have to listen to it. It’s hard to endure any more then ten minutes of that cartoony, awful tune. Also, the game is probably one of the worst games I’ve seen on my iPod when it comes to crashing. The Sims 3 crashes and lags a lot, so beware of that. The best advice I
have to prevent the crashing as much as possible would be to restart your device before you begin playing The Sims 3.

Controlling your Sim is fun and rewarding, especially when you succeed and make your Sim happy and successful. Overall, The Sims 3 is a good way to spend ten dollars because it offers hours and hours of enjoyment, with gameplay that has never been done before on the iPhone/iPod Touch platform. I would highly reccommend this to any fan of the previous Sims volumes.
