Notorious, this was a great title for the movie biography of the rapper Notorious B.I.G. I saw the movie about a week ago, and am still amazed at what his life was like, true or not. Notorious means widely and unfavorably known, which is the epitome of Christopher Wallace’s life.
The movie starts out showing the childhood life of Wallace, and how he lived in Brooklyn. He lives with only his mother, as his father left her while Wallace was very young. He ends up meeting his father once, and it is a tragic point in Wallace’s life.
The movie was very inspirational, especially when Wallace says “We can not change
the world until we change ourselves.” This is exactly what he did throughout the movie. At first, he was a big-time drug dealer in the city of Brooklyn. He got so obsessed with money that he let it become his life, but he was acquiring it in the wrong way. He meets Puff, who gives him a shot at the big-time, and he takes it and runs with it. He starts rolling in the cash, and never looks back.
The best part about the movie is how Wallace single handedly changes the streets of Brooklyn. People were not used to having a hero they could look up to in the city of ...
