      One of my favorite movies has always been The Greatest Show on Earth, starring Charlton Heston. In fact, I believe this is Heston’s first big starring role. He plays Brad, the owner of the circus that travels the country. He has to deal with everything that

      running a circus entails, and it’s not an easy job.

      Betty Hutton plays Holly, the trapeze artist who owns Brad’s heart. They’re involved, but Brad has commitment issues, stemming more from running the circus than anything else, and Holly just wants to get that center ring and be the star. She has ambition to share her heart.

      of wonderful performances. I’m very partial to James Stewart as Buttons, the clown. His role is very poignant. I love it.

      The Greatest Show on Earth is a movie for the family. There’s the circus and a love story. It’s a great depiction of the greatest show on Earth.
