As a new mom I am constantly trying products and learning what works and what just doesn’t work for my son as far as bottles, diapers, soaps, toys and just about every thing else related to babies. Bottles have been a huge issue for me and my son. I’ve tried almost every type of bottle in an attempt to be able to adequately feed him. I was not able to breast feed and

have to rely solely on bottle feeding. And from his very first day in this world he has had problems feeding and latching on to nipples.

After trying the most expensive to the cheaper varieties of bottles, the best bottles that I have found for him that he is comfortable and successful eating with are the Playtex Drop-In System bottles. They are the “miracle” bottle for my son and I. colic issues.

The only disadvantage to the Playtex Drop-In System bottles is the need to buy new liners regularly. Wal-Mart and Target both have their own form of generic liners for about half of the price and both work just as well as the Playtex brand. The Wal-Mart generic liners, Parent’s Choice liners, work great but the liners are a tad difficult to get out one at a time. But, for the price

and quantity (100 per box), a little effort to get a liner is well worth it. One advantage of the liners though is the fact that you have a new, sterilized bottle body every time you make a new bottle. As a germaphobe, I love that!

Overall, the Playtex Drop-In System bottles are ideal if you are having feeding problems, latching issues, gas and/or colic issues and are in search of an alternative to higher priced bottles.
