Depending on the amount of rain or snow that is falling this interference can usually range anywhere from just a minor annoyance (hitching in the signal and/or pixilation on the screen) to a full loss of the signal for the duration of the storm.       • the worst for the full loss of signal, and I have checked several times - it is not because of snow buildup on the dish, it is the amount of interferance that the storm causes in the sky apparently preventing the signal from the satellite reaching the small dish. All in all I would say
        that Dish Network is an okay alternative, most particularly if you live in an area where you can not get cable television, but you should be prepared for bad weather to interfere with your favorite programs. I give them a 5 out of 10 - they are an okay service, but technology is no match for Mother Nature

I see that you`ve been experiencing some ongoing issues with signal loss, which I apologize to hear about A simple fix that I recommend whenever that comes up is to unplug the receiver`s power cord from the wall for at least 15 seconds and then plug it back in. This will shut the receiver off and allow it to automatically reboot itself, regaining your account programming information, as well as your signal. I`m glad that everything else with the service is going well for you thus far and I hope this tactic resolves the issue with the signal In the event that it doesn`t, please let me know and I would be happy to offer further assistance Hope that helps
