  • I know from experience that this flan bases can really be dry if bought in a store already made and can have a strong fake taste to them but with thermometer reaching its upper limits I really could not care less plus this one was packed in a see through bag and was looking juicy
  • I bought two so that it will meet my needs

Everybody likes cakes and all other deserts, but making them might be really time consuming and hard and we simply cant afford to do it (or in my case being just lazy in this occasion).

I had guests announced to come to over in the afternoon and I wanted to treat them with something sweet and refreshing alongside the usual cup of coffee. But hot as it was I really had no will to do anything. I went to show, without any inspiration and with the hope that I will find something

that will give me the idea what to make and not being to time consuming. And there it was at the price 0.99$ flan base looking perfectly fit for »crostata« sweet fruit flan base cake. • bought two so that it will meet my needs. I also bought some kiwis bananas and oranges for the topping.

It was easy to use, if this is the way to put it, it didn’t crumble but it is somewhat fragile so one must watch not to brake it in half. I put some fruit spread on it, then a layer of mixed fruit and covered it all with jelly. 5 minutes work plus some additional minutes in the freezer for the cake to cool but that is not my »problem«. A

5 minute job as I said.

The guests arrived and the time was for them to taste it. Everyone looked pleased with this refreshing dessert. I also took a piece and I am more than pleased. It was far better than most of pre-made flan basses sure it is still far from home made one but it was satisfactory. It was soft, moist, tasty. And at 0.99$ more than a bargain for something that is made in 5 minutes tastes decent, satisfies guests well a great desert for lazy summer days.
