  • The band has stated the used less distortion, they also didn't seem to branch out much in style, the songs are good and heavy for the most part, for some reason the album just didn't impress me like their last, they say they wanted to release it with a really raw sound, and not regurgitate anything, I have a really hard time seeing the album as heavier then anything they have done, it isn't bad, but it isn't in the same ballpark as Sacrament or even Ashes Of The Wake, it seems like they held back, and tried not to be creative on the album, this isn't regurgitation, but it is not progress in my opinion
  • For as excited as I was about this album I am really let down, don't get me wrong, it's a good metal album, but it should have been amazing and it just isn't

Wrath is the sixth studio album by Lamb Of God, if you count Burn The Priest, released on February 24th 2009 produced by Josh Wilbur. The band has stated the used less distortion, they also didn’t seem to branch out much in style, the songs are good and heavy for the most part, for some

      • even Ashes Of The Wake, it seems like they held back, and tried not to be creative on the album, this isn’t regurgitation, but it is not progress in my opinion. They also kept several songs off the album to release as bonus tracks, why not just put them on the standard edition, the album
only clocks in at 44 minutes anyway. For as excited as I was about this album I am really let down, don’t get me wrong, it’s a good metal album, but it should have been amazing and it just isn’t. The album is still worth checking out, and it’s still a good album, could have been something special though.
