David Rice played by Hayden Christensen is one of the main characters in this movie; his deal is that at the age of 15, he found out that he could teleport to anywhere that he has seen before, a power that he stumbled across after he fell into a frozen river. The very first time he used his powers was at that point

in the river, he teleported himself directly to the library.

Now with almost total control over his ability to ‘jump’ thus the title of the movie, David committed his first crime by jumping into a bank vault to steal money, money that he uses to live an extremely luxurious life.

Seemingly living a very comfortable life, this is about to be turned upside ...

      • down when agents come looking for him with intentions of killing him for his godlike powers.

To date I am yet to understand exactly why these agents go around killing the jumpers, that question was never answered for me.

        Samuel L.

Jackson plays the role of a Paladin, the leader of the agents who go about the duty of ridding the world of

        the trouble makers and thieves.

Not wanting to become a statistic, David manages to elude his would be assassins and flee to distant lands, both he and his lady friend after the initial battle between him and the paladins came to an end.

Not a typical blockbuster movie, it doesn’t have what I would call a great film appeal, but it is entertaining none the less.

    Andrew Leaither says :

David Rice played by Hayden Christensen was exceptional and well acted in this movie. I saw it at the cinemas. I did not know at the time what I was going to watch, but when I decided to go and see the movie, I was instantly drawn into it’s world of great acting and story line. I loved the movie, it was great and fresh it was something I can recommend and I loved the movie when Hayden Christensen jumped from one place to another. Yet he was not alone. There were people after him too and some of them had the same abilities and he knew his time was numbered, many things that were coming against him.
