I became a fan of Grey’s Anatomy just recently and once I started watching I couldn’t stop anymore. In fact, I finished watching Season 4 and 5 in just two days.

The season 5 finale for Grey’s Anatomy was aired just a couple of days back. The Now or Never episode is the second part of the two-hour finale. In this episode, the Grey’s fans are in for a shocking and surprising twist in the story. O’ Malley decided to

become a military doctor in Iraq. Izzie went through with the surgery but signed the DNR (Do Not Resuscitate). The tumor was all gone but she is suffering from a short term memory loss and Alex tries desperately to make remember.

Meanwhile, the other doctors including Bailey are making plans to stop O’ Malley from going to Iraq. But unfortunately, they were too late since he was gone already. Later on in the episode, a John Doe was rushed to ...

      • Seattle Grace Hospital because he was hit by a bus that totally wrecked his face.

The surprising and shocking part is when Izzie was finally able to remember things but when Alex hugged her, she went unconscious. While Meredith discovered that John Doe was actually George O’ Malley. The season 5 ended with Izzie Stevens in her prom dress riding an elevator. When it opened, O’ Malley was outside waiting for her in his military uniform.

The Grey’s fans are left thinking

and buzzing. Will George and Izzie really die? Some liked it and some were just plain disgusted with how it things went. As for myself, I’m not sure if I should be happy or not. I’ve come to love their characters. Izzie and George has become vital characters in the series and it would seem incomplete without them. But it was still a good story. A one heck of twist.

All the Grey’s fans can do now is wait for Season 6.
