  • While trying to get a Chinese tourist visa, I decided to go with Globe Travel Services, because they were conveniently located and I knew that they had been in business for a while
  • I was really impressed at the helpfulness of the man and woman who run the business, and they were always replied promptly to my numerous emails, and offered additional information without me asking for it
  • The only things that I found very frustrating were that they only accept cash or debit as payment for visa applications, and they have no sign or notice to this effect
  • I was also a little annoyed that they didn't call me as they had promised to tell me when my passport came back from the Consulate, but at the end of the day, this wasn't a big problem as they replied back to one of my emails

While trying to get a Chinese tourist visa, I decided to go with Globe Travel Services, because they were conveniently located and I knew that they had been in business for a while.

I was pretty anxious about receiving the tourist visa, because my entire two-and-a-half month trip was dependent on it. The man I dealt with was very reassuring and professional, and promised me that there would be no problems. I liked that the price was fairly

reasonable, and was less expensive than other agencies. I also liked that when I dropped off my application form, it was reviewed to ensure that I had filled it out correctly. I was really impressed at the helpfulness of the man and woman who run the business, and they were always replied promptly to my numerous emails, and offered additional information without me asking for it. They also stayed open a little later than usual to ...

      • help me process my application and payment efficiently, which was a great reassurance to me as I was very flustered that day. Overall, I felt that they knew exactly what they were doing, and I felt that my application, and more importantly, my passport, were safe with them.

The only things that I found very frustrating were that they only accept cash or debit as payment for visa applications, and they have no sign or notice to this effect.

I was also a little annoyed that they didn’t call me as they had promised to tell me when my passport came back from the Consulate, but at the end of the day, this wasn’t a big problem as they replied back to one of my emails. Lastly, they require proof of accommodation in China, which is not listed on the Consulate’s website as a required document and they only tell you about it when you drop off your application.
