Catherine Piper robbed a convenience store. She blamed Alan because she was promised a job after she was fired from Crane,Poole and Schimdt. According to her, Alan forgot it and since she needs to eat, she robbed a store. Her version was its better to do the robbing than killing a person. Alan made an arrangement with the owner of the convenience store not to press charges.

Denise had a case about invasion of privacy. A woman Jackie Hayden, access was gained to her personal medical

records. The husband of Jackie always beat her. Finally she went to the women’s shelter to seek help. The shelter promised that her husband will never find her there. For obvious reason, the name, number and location of the shelter kept confidential.Jackie was placed on therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder. The cost for this was covered by her HMO. The latter posted the information of Jackie in the website thus her husband knew her location. And that’s where he killed Jackie.

Beverly Bridge let Denny fire ...

      • the sandwich guy after it failed to satisfy her order for her “fiber diet”. Shirley raised this concern to Denny and he re-hired him back. Beverly on rebuff contretemps with Denny.

The HMO had contributed negligence in the death of Jackie Hayden. They could have foreseen the potential harm but they opted not to do something. The only question that we should ask, what was the proximate cause of Jackie’s death? She took refuge from a shelter because she did not have anywhere else to

go. She sought medical therapy to relieve herself from psychological trauma but the HMO posted her information in their web. Was it intentional, it might not be, but were they negligent? Definitely. They are to be held responsible because the only reason that Jackie’s husband got hold of her whereabouts was the sole information that HMO posted in the web. There is great responsibility in all that you do, thus albeit there was lack of intention, they contributed to her death. The ruling was correct.

    Andrew Leither says :

Catherine Piper robbed a convenience store. I seen quite a lot of Boston Legal I just don’t remember this particular episode, but for those who love Boston Legal all episodes were great, fun and entertaining.
