  • The cable is very short which is very useful when charging from a laptop, but those charging from the back of a tower computer may require a longer cable, to avoid the mp3 player from hanging from the USB port

      The Creative Zen Stone PLUS is a very compact mp3 player full of features for its size. First of all the model comes in different storage sizes: mine is 2GB and the choice of color is either black or white. The white mp3 player comes with matching white earphones and cable and the black has standard black earphones and cable.

      The mp3 player charges directly through USB to a desktop computer, laptop and the cable is supplied in the box. The cable is very short which


      is very useful when charging from a laptop, but those charging from the back of a tower computer may require a longer cable, to avoid the mp3 player from hanging from the USB port. Alternatively a multiple USB connection should be purchased and placed on a desk, or on the computer tower. Battery should be charged after 4 hours which is very good.

      • you to see which song is playing and the battery life. Also it allows the user to browse though the different features such as radio and recording mode. On the front, the mp3 player has small stylish circular buttons from which to skip songs or increase or reduce the volume.

        The Zen Stone PLUS has an inbuilt microphone but the quality of the recording is not very good. I found out that the microphone needs to be placed very close to the person talking, otherwise, the

        sound is not clear or distant. However, this feature didn’t diminish my opinion of the player, since I use it to listen to music and not to record.

        One final thing: the Zen Stone PLUS mp3 player doesn’t have a clip to attach to the clothes, especially if you want to go out jogging or listen to it at the gym. Arm bands can be purchased separately and if the trousers worn have pockets, the stone can fit quite nicely because of it’s very small size.
