Its halloween and the case fits this very occasion. Shirley Schimdt and Denise Bauer are representing Christians and Wiccans who are outraged by the public school’s celebration on halloween. The client sued the school specifically because they don’t like the witch. They contend that the witch that the school had laughs differently. They thought that when she do it, she is insulting their class. The case went to a spin when both Christians parents

      and Wiccans fight among themselves.

Garrett Wells sought the help of Alan Shore in defending the case of the paralegal he slept with. The brother of the paralegal signed up for the national guard. His brother already fulfilled his contract in Iraq, he was suppose to come home. The army kept him there under the stop loss program. There weren’t enough soldiers on the ground so they put him in a position that he ...

      • never trained for. And as a result, he was killed. Alan drew his case under the state torts act. The government interposed sovereign immunity.

The halloween case was disgusting as well as offensive. There was a clash between the non-establishment clause as oppose to the very freedom of celebration. I just like Shirley’s summation, she quoted an eloquent passage by Martin Niemoeller, a german pastor. The case was ditzy but the

sense of the ruling was well-taken.

The case against the army is impossible in real practice. Indeed it is a flamboyant attempt to showcase anti-war sentiment. But with the previous episodes at hand that I’ve saw from Boston Legal, the episode conveys a message. I happen to agree that the government should be held liable. The horror and the damage of every soldier is a government’s responsibility. Thus, it is just appropriate that they should be held liable.
