      This is a non-Robert Fuller episode of Wagon Train, except for a piece of stock footage inserted at the tail end of the show for comedic effect. The man had a great contract, that’s for sure. The Bleeker Story is the story of a family that Duke Shannon runs into while scouting for the

      wagon train. Eventually, the Bleekers join up with the train. They aren’t exactly the law-abiding type, though.

      • on parts such as this one and the role of Lottie on Here Come the Brides a few years later. Ed Nelson plays her oldest son, a rather psychotic villain.

        Brooke Bundy plays a young woman on the wagon train who falls for one of the Bleekers. Also in the show is Ruta Lee.

        It also deserves a mention that star John McIntire’s two children were in this show, too, as Bleekers. Both Tim and Holly McIntire had big roles here.

        Wagon Train: The Bleeker Story isn’t one that I watch very often. Even with Blondell and Bundy, both of whom I enjoy watching, I just wasn’t that fond of the story.
