The first issue of Marvel’s new mini-series “Civil War” is one of Marvel’s best story arcs to come around in a long, long time. It is so good, in fact, it can actually remove some of the stench of Marvel’s House of M Travesty that stunk up

      the joint several months back.

A bunch of happy go lucky B-Grade superheroes decide to take on some ultra tough supervillians in order to spike ratings for their reality show.

When Namorita (the Submariner’s sister) tackles Nitro The Human Bomb, she is way out of her league ...

      • as Nitro self detonates and ends up killing 900 people.

This leads to a public outcry where superheros must register with the federal government and finally be regulated.

The problem is that some heroes are unwilling to do so while others are quick to comply.

        This leads

to, you guessed it, a Civil War between the heroes.

This series seems to be a response to DC’s brilliant Infinity Crisis and while the writing is not on the same level as Infinity Crisis, it is still enjoyable enough that fans of comiplicated and complex storylines will find a great deal of enjoyment.
