As the gecko state approaches the end of their journey, they receive an unusual request made by Master Norb himself. They should of known something was up by this time.

Welcome to Eureka Seven episode 39 “Join the Future”, also known as the only episode you see any body on the gecko state advocate some kind of exercise at

      all.

Prepare your tiny little minds to wrap around the ultra complex and totally impossible game of .

      Soccer.

Master Norb has ordered all of the Gecko state to play soccer against each other so that they can go past the great wall.

And Holland has bought into it hook line and sinker.

However in the middle of ...

      • the game they discover that Renton does not know how to pass the ball.

This only gets worse as it turns out that the older guys have no energy, and that moon doggie is the only descent player other than Renton himself.

Than Master Norb pulls out an team of true blue soccer jocks, there is bound to be

some trouble marked on this situation.

During this comedy fiasco, there is the other half of the story with Dewey Novaic confirming the death of the sages of being caused by the coralians and utterly finalizes his support for the war.

If Eureka Seven was an sport comedy instead, I would probably fall heads over heels for this masterfully played episode.
