Although this Hotel is quite expensive for benidorm, the cheap and cheerful city, it was a great Hotel and perhaps worth paying that bit more for. This Hotel was only 5oom from the Beach, and although the beach got busy, it was a large beach, so plenty of room for everyone. This Hotel was under 3 miles from the city centre where most of the shops were, and the transport links into the centre were good. Taxi’s weren’t expensive from this area either.

The outside of the Hotel was impressive. It was a large Sky Scraper-type building which was all metal and large windows, so it was a large nice looking building. The main

reception area was light and spacious. It was manned 24 hours a day and the staff were helpful and happy to advise of good eating places, and cheap shops.

Inside the Hotel there was a few different leisure things to do, such as a couple of swimming pools, fitness room, childrens play area, dry cleaning, laundry room, small nightclub and bar. the prices weren’t too bad in here, and since there is bars all over Benidorm, you find the prices are competative anyway.

We stayed in a double room and paid £75 per night. We had a balcony, which overlooked the beach and the room was large. It had all the normal furniture in it ...

      • such as bedside cabinets, sideboard, desk, chair, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The wood looked alright, but there was a few chips in the paint. The carpet looked like it had better days as well. Sheets were clean and fresh, so that wasn’t a worry. the tv had a good amount of satellite channels on it as well, so good to have some english channels instead of all foreign ones.

The bathroom was clean enough, but some of the tiles looked a bit scummy. The towels looked like they had been well used, and although they were clean, I get the impression the Hotel has had them for a while. They looked a bit

        off white as well.

Housekeeping was alright, they done what was meant to be done, but our maid looked a bit surly and totally fed up when we seen her plumping the pillows angrily one day.

Breakfast was good. it was a buffet breakfast and had cold meat, juice, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, rolls, and bread. The stock was kept topped up, and there was a few choice of how you wanted your eggs.

A good experience here. The Hotel and room amenities were good, and although you can get a room around here for about half of what we paid. It was a good experience, and didn’t feel like a cheapo spanish holiday here.
