  • I know when I first looked at it I was surprised and I think I have tried just about every type of mascara wand that is out there-- including those vibrating and turning ones
  • Two things that I did notice to be different from other mascaras were that my eyes did not itch when I had it on and there was virtually no clumping, which was a huge surprise when you consider how much mascara goes on with each swipe
  • Even when I took a nap in the middle of the afternoon it stayed on my face and I know I rolled face first onto the pillow so there should of at least been a little rubbing off

When you get a look at the new brush that is included in the Sexy Curves Mascara from Rimmel I am guessing half of you will wonder if the company was joking. I know when I first looked at it I was surprised and I think I have tried just about every type of mascara wand that is out there– including those vibrating and turning ones. The new Sexy Curves Mascara wand though, almost looks like a Dr. Seuss creation in both shape and color.

There are three curved points of the wand that are supposed to add lot of extra volume to your lashes. Whether they do or not is up to the wearer to decide, though I think a combination of both the formula and the wand make for some larger lashes than I am normally

used to. The waved brush does not just curve at random though, it is meant to be used a certain way and the curves are position in specific places so that you get just the right amount of curl where you want it most and longer reaching lashes where you need them.

I generally notice a big difference whenever I wear mascara, but I think there was a definite difference in the way my eye lashes decided to sit once I was done. I can’t say exactly how much in terms of percentages, like the ads for Sexy Curves uses, but I would dare to say there was at least a fifty percent difference in terms of lift and volume. They do look one hundred percent better though than they look without any mascara on, it actually looks ...

      • like I have eye lashes now instead of them appearing almost invisible or tucked into my eye sockets.

Like every other mascara and makeup product lately there is some patent pending part of the formula that makes it do what it does. In this case it is a lash inflation technology (?), though I am not really sure how that works. The technology is apparently what is responsible for all the volume and full look. Two things that I did notice to be different from other mascaras were that my eyes did not itch when I had it on and there was virtually no clumping, which was a huge surprise when you consider how much mascara goes on with each swipe. Upon later reading of the package I saw that it was for people with sensitive eyes

and opthalmologically tested so that makes it a definite keeper in my book.

As far as wearability goes, wow! I had this stuff on all day and never did I see it fleck off at all or blend into the rest of my makeup. Even when I took a nap in the middle of the afternoon it stayed on my face and I know I rolled face first onto the pillow so there should of at least been a little rubbing off. I should also mention that with the crazy Doctor Seuss brush I was able to get more mascara onto my lashes, even the tiny ones in the corner, without having to flip the wand every which way to reach them– those curves do work!

Overall, awesome new mascara and a great bargain for seven dollars.
