When I need to make a quick breakfast, I love cooking these beef sausage links. They are basically already cooked.

They can be re-”cooked” in a skillet or microwaved.

      I

really wouldn’t microwave them, unless you want gray looking, greasy sausage that doesn’t cook evenly.

On the other hand, if you fry them in a skillet, you’ll get perfectly browned, flavorful sausage that makes your whole kitchen smell wonderful.

The weird thing is that ...

      • when I make these, it often smells like I’m cooking more than just sausage.

I usually buy the links that come (10) to a box.

This is perfect for a breakfast or brunch for two (they’re small).

        And they are

        usually fairly inexpensive in stores.

I’ve had the maple flavor Brown-N-Serve too, and they are ridiculously delicious.

These little sausages though, are terribly greasy.

You’ll need to drain them very well to make sure you get out all the excess oil.
