      I am very fond of cooking. I do not like to use ready-made mixes and spices. I always prepare my own spice powder at home by using a mortal and pastel. Its a little time consuming and sometimes doesn’t make a fine powder. It was so frustrating that i had to buy the ready-made stuff for the time i was in hurry.

      I started looking for electric options


      for grinding my spices. With a small family i do not need to cook huge meals so a blender is too big to grind very little amount of spice. I saw some coffee grinders in Bed Bath and Beyond but found them very expensive and huge. Then i came across this Krups coffee and spice grinder. I was really happy to discover something so amazing. Its just for $20.00 and plus i got $5.00 discount when i used the Bed Bath and Beyond coupon. It available in other stores too.

      well in it. For a small family its perfect enough. Cleaning is very easy too. The top lid can be cleaned under water but the inside jar can only be wiped off with any regular wet tissue.

      Positive: Excellent for all dry spices to grind into powder. You can even make small amounts of peanut butter in it. Its very low price for the quality of

      work it does .

      Negative: You cannot grind anything wet in it. In case of wet ingredients you still need a blender.

      Tip: For better durability do not grind the hot roasted spices, wait till it cools. Always wipe off after each use as a part of maintenance. Always pulse it instead of continuous grinding. This helps motor to get a break and stay cool.
