  • Having gotten prior work experience from co-op gives the student an edge when they are ready to go out into the real working world
  • The arts library, Dana Porter, is my personal favourite library because of the atmosphere
  • However I recommend this library still because they have brand new Mac and apple computers
  • Some professors are also very interesting, which makes you want to listen to what he has to say, as opposed to coming just for the same of doing so
  • But the reward is great and you won't regret it

University of waterloo is an institution in Canada, located in the region of Waterloo. It is most famous for engineering but is also well renowed in the field of sciences and accounting. The most famous aspect about waterloo is their co-op program which is second to none. Having gotten prior work experience from co-op gives the student an edge when they are ready to go out into the real working world.

The arts library, Dana Porter, is my personal favourite library because of the atmosphere. They spent millions last summer on renovations. The first main floor looks more spacious now and has many new computers for our use. The coffee shop is alsy very delicious. However their prices are not that good and they have limited choices. The fun of being in the library is because you

can hang out wiht your friends while doing work. It is a fun and educational place to me. The other DC library is alsy very nice but it is way too crowded.

My least favourite building of all is the math building. Being in there makes me feel claustrophobic for some reason. Also i almost never get reception in that building. However I recommend this library still because they have brand new Mac and apple computers. Also this is a place where many clubs are located, so it can still be central to many lives of student.

My other personal favourite place is the stuent life center. This is where all the action is; people perform there, the bar is there, and many shops are there for your convenience. Also there is a cafeteria. Like the coffee shop ...

      • at DP, there are not a lot of choices and prices aren’t so great. But with campus life, your tastes get use to everything.

My favourite program is the biology. People who are science inclined but not excelled in chemistry or physics may enjoy this program. Although some courses such as ‘molecular biology’ are unpleasant, many courses are fun and the program itself is quite flexible. The labs can be a pain, but the labs i’ve taken so far are very enjoyable, such as ‘vertebrate zoology labs’. Some professors are also very interesting, which makes you want to listen to what he has to say, as opposed to coming just for the same of doing so.

The most fun activity is residence life. There you can to hang out with friends until whenever you want, or not

come home and crash over at a friends. Being restricted to what I can do all the way up until highschool, I found this to be a nice change. But however, it is not meant for you to go while, but for you to explore your environments, know your limits, and make friends (or know who cannot be trusted). It’s also about managing your life with your floor mates or roommates. It is lot to learn, and is a learning experience. I used this as an education purpose because i get to discuss homework with people on my floor.

All in all, i think this university is great for people who are more theory based. Waterloo is a lot of work depending on which program you are in. But the reward is great and you won’t regret it.
