Last night’s Psych season finale “An Evening with Mr. Yang” was somewhat interesting but yet a disappointment at the same time.

I liked the idea of a super-genius serial killer taking on Shawn one-on-one and leaving clues for him to solve to save the life of a waitress and then his mother.

      That was definitely interesting

considering you could only imagine the stress something like that would put on a person (watching Gus go out of his way to keep Shawn from getting overly stressed was actually quite funny at times too) The clues take them all over town and Shawn even nearly misses out on his date with “the one who ...

      • got away.

” Despite this, the episode ended up being very disappointing for me.

        First of all, Mr.

Yang was advertised as having a surprise guest star and, while making him into a woman was different, Ally Sheedy wasn’t exactly someone who is going to have you sit up on the edge of your couch and go

        “Oh, what a surprise.

” In fact, I had to go online to see who she even was.

Also, much like last week’s episode “Tuesday the 17th” we were left with the who but not really the why.

        OK, Mr.

        Yang is a serial killer.

But, why? Again, that was very disappointing because it should have been a big part of the storyline.
