  • Another episode of Clifford the Big Red Dog and yet another episode I have to recommend to parents
  • The thing I like about this episode is it teaches kids (and adults the same)to have all the facts before believing something and especially before accusing somebody of something you think they might have done but don't really know for sure

Another episode of Clifford the Big Red Dog and yet another episode I have to recommend to parents. Why don’t I let my daughter watch this show more often?

The episode “To Catch a Bird” is a great one because it actually has to challenge your belief in true friendship.

Clifford’s owner, Emily Elizabeth is accused of stealing things from one of her friends and, to be honest, most of the evidence points in her direction.

But, she denies everything and Clifford is the only person who believes her.

Of course, she isn’t the person who is stealing everything.

      As ...

      • it turns out, there’s a bird in the neighborhood that is attracted to shiny objects and has been taking them to its nest.

The thing I like about this episode is it teaches kids (and adults the same)to have all the facts before believing something and especially before accusing somebody

of something you think they might have done but don’t really know for sure.

After all, the people in this episode might have made up and stayed friends at the end but, in real life, that lack of trust could probably ruin a friendship forever.

And forever is a very, very long time.
